Hey Jaime,

Thanks for your voicemail and for all your professionalism and help in my first airplane purchase. Based on your reputation, I was expecting good things in working with you (even from across the table) and I was not disappointed!

Thanks very much - I'll talk to you again when I need an upgrade!

Rudy Poussot- June 2008

Dear Jaime,

When I purchased my new SR22 from Cirrus, I asked Cirrus if they would recommend someone to handle the resale of my SR20. They recommended you and now I know why. You were also recommended to me by a couple other pilots, who were totally pleased with how you handled their transactions. I’d like to share my experience, so you can use it on your web site.

This was my first experience selling a plane and I had absolutely no idea how to go about it, but with your help and guidance you made the entire process easy. Your knowledge of the market is impressive and right on target. You are a really good and solid business woman with a good head on her shoulders. Throughout the entire process you were extremely helpful and awfully nice.

I was very grateful when you dropped everything to help me when I was down to the wire at the bank and called you for some last minute assistance. No matter what the situation you remained calm and always knew how to handle whatever came your way. It was very impressive.

The timing of my sale was not great, as the market became saturated shortly after listing my plane causing the prices to drop. But because of your market savvy, you guided me accurately with respect to my price and I was able to make the sale in 6 months in a very flooded marketplace, so I was very pleased.

Jaime, I could go on and on with accolades about you. I know I would absolutely work with you again in a heart beat. Should anyone want to communicate with me directly regarding your business ethics, they are welcome to email me.

Stay well.

Dear Jaime,

Because I found you by doing a web search and I know the value of your website and its testimonials, I wanted to write a testimonial of my positive experiences with you and Steel Aviation.

Within a relatively short period of time I did two transactions with you and plan to do my next acquisition with you again, when the market allows. You are the only person, at this point, whose word I would entirely believe in all aspects of the purchasing or the selling of a plane - sight unseen. Everything you told me was always 100% accurate and true.

I am a person, who is very busy and who doesn’t have time to negotiate and get deeply involved in the purchase of a plane. Your real value was in how you handled the entire transaction. It was totally “hands off” for me during both transactions and everything went smoothly and efficiently.

My only ‘disappointment’ is that you sold my plane too fast! I had hoped to fly it a bit longer, but as soon as I listed it, you made one phone call and that man purchased my SR22 within days.

I don’t want to knock any other brokers, but until I found your company I had never had a great experience in the past when purchasing a plane. Needless to say, I am delighted to have found you and I look forward to my next purchase.

Yours truly,

Don Richie
Don.Richie@sequeldata.com

Dear Jaime,

When I first called you, I had been recommended to Steel Aviation by another pilot, who had bought and sold SR22’s from you. He highly recommended you. Now, I know why.

The transaction went smoothly from beginning to end. Fortunately, you had the SR22 I was looking for in your inventory. Your photos and website were expertly done, so I was able to get a good feel for the condition prior to the inspection. The pre-buy went smoothly because you represented the plane’s condition exactly as it was, so there were no surprises.

Because I liked the way you handled the entire purchase, I turned around and listed my 182 with you to sell. You handled the sale just as professionally as you handled my purchase. You priced it right in the beginning but because the engine had some issues at the annual, you knew we needed to drop the price, which we did and it sold within two months of the listing date.

Would I use you again? You bet. My only complaint (which is really a compliment to you) is that you are swamped! Sometimes it was hard to reach you on the phone because you are in such demand, but once I did – things always went smoothly. Your success is only natural when you provide such great service.

Though I am not providing contact information on your website, I am more than willing to speak to anyone about Jaime’s level of service if you, Jaime contact me first. I will be happy to make the call.

Best regards,

John Pence

Dear Jaime,

Writing a testimonial for you is easy. Just as easy as your transactions!

AirShares Elite has purchased quite a number of ‘pre-loved’ Cirrus SR20/22’s from you over the past few years. Along the way we have spoken to other brokers, but have only done business with you for very important reasons.

You have a better pulse on the over all market than any other broker. Your ability to evaluate whether a deal is good or bad is always right on target, as is your knowledge of the Cirrus market.

What are also quite impressive are the listings you always have available and the consistent movement of your inventory. It shows that you perform for your clients and are a leader in the industry!

In my opinion, any serious buyer or seller certainly needs to speak with you prior to working with any other broker and once they do – they will recognize the difference.

Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Kevin Price
kprice@airshareselite.com

Jaime,

I realize that most of your testimonials are from pilots, who have bought or sold planes with you, so I decided you needed a testimonial from a mechanic, who works on Cirrus, Diamond, and Light Sport Aircraft (LSA.)

I didn’t use to really get too involved in referring pilots to brokers, but after awhile it seemed that every client who came to our shop, who had purchased their plane from you were exceptionally happy and satisfied with their transaction. Customers would tell me how easy you were to deal with, how flawless the transactions were, how they just sat back and relaxed and they especially loved how you did all the paper work for them.

Not only are you very knowledgeable of the Cirrus but whenever I have talked with you personally, you are so friendly and upfront about everything, that you make dealing with you such a pleasure.

You are a remarkable business woman and that is why it gives me pleasure to make these remarks, to be on your website and most importantly – to refer you business.

We had a great relationship while I was with Airways and I hope to continue our relationship for a long time, as co-owner and Director of Maintenance for Advanced Aircraft Services.

Jaime,

I’d like you to know how much respect and admiration I have for the way you handled the sale of my Cirrus SR20, N84MR.

Because of my association with many aircraft owners, the first thing I did when I knew I was going to sell my airplane was to ask for recommendations for a broker. I was surprised to find that many I asked would NOT recommend their broker. However, all who had used your services were extremely satisfied.

I was struck by the consistency of peoples’ comments about you – they found you to be experienced and knowledgeable, with a broad knowledge of the industry, specifics of their airplane type, a good sense of the “just right price” for an airplane, and so on. Mainly, for me, everyone also commented on how pleasant you are to deal with, and how well you communicate – my own particular “hot button” - so I didn’t hesitate. I called you, you emailed me your contract, and within an hour, you became my broker.

I was very pleased to find that the all the praise was accurate – you returned all my calls and emails immediately, and continue to do so today, months after the sale was completed. During the course of our business relationship, I came to know you as one of the “straightest” players in the industry. You are honest to a fault, with high morals and guiding principles that are evident in all your business transactions. When I agonized over whether or how much to lower the price, you counseled me on how to do it.

Because of your guidance, my airplane sold quickly at the exact price I wanted, to the second prospective buyer you sent to me. And I haven’t forgotten that even as we went to contract on the airplane, you had yet another prospect lined up, just in case.

So, Jaime, in return for your wonderful service, I’m offering to tell the world about you, or at least - anyone who calls. My phone number is at the top of this letter. Please feel free to pass it on to anyone who is interested, so that I can tell them about you in person. And thank you again for making this transaction such a pleasure.

Sincerely,

Mike Radomsky

To anyone looking to purchase an aircraft:

When I began my search for an aircraft, I was overwhelmed by all of the choices I found on the internet. I knew it can be a tricky deal when dealing with a seller, so I decided it would be money well spent to hire a broker to handle the entire process. Jaime’s level of service went way beyond any of my expectations.

What truly amazes me is that not only did she provide invaluable services prior to closing the transaction, but she continued to help me tremendously after the purchase, as a courtesy. I don’t think any other broker would have been so kind, considerate, and as professional.

For those looking to hire a broker to handle the purchase of their aircraft I want to expound upon everything Jaime did. First, she found the exact plane I was looking for, along with other potential choices. She arranged to have it flown to her facility in Ohio, had the pre-buy inspections performed, had the price reduced because of minor squawks, took a video and sent it to me in California for my viewing.

As if that wasn’t enough, after the transaction was complete I wanted an engine monitor put on my plane. Jaime handled having the plane transported to an avionic shop, oversaw the installation, and stayed involved until I received my plane. At the time, I wasn’t qualified to fly that type of aircraft, so Jaime arranged to have a ferry pilot bring it to me.

I actually never saw my plane until the day it was delivered and Jaime handled the entire process. Jaime made the transaction simple and pain free for me. Jaime did all the work.

Now, some people might think that’s crazy to put that much trust in someone, but never once did I doubt that I was in professional and ethical hands. Jaime’s business skills and knowledge of the industry amazed me. From our first conversation I knew I could trust her and not once did she leave me out of the loop.

Everything others wrote about Jaime in their testimonials was 100% accurate. It gives me great pleasure to add my letter to Steel Aviation’s list of totally happy and satisfied clients.

I welcome calls or emails from anyone looking to hire a broker to locate the right aircraft. Jaime truly knows the right fit based upon your needs.

My best regards,

Dear Jaime,

Thanks for the help in selling my cirrus SR/22. The two words that come to mind when I think of how it was to work with you are “simple” and “easy.” You took the complications out of the entire transaction of brokering my plane.

The advice you provided was always positive, on target and moved the deal forward. You suggested that I demo my plane, which I did. Then, the one buyer you sent…bought my plane at the price you suggested, which was fair and a good deal for both parties.

Completed the entire transaction from beginning to end in a professional manner with little involvement from me. The experience was painless.

Your advice on how to proceed with new purchase made this transaction “simple” and “easy.”

I know this letter is going on your web site, and that is a recommendation for anyone looking for a broker. You are second to none. You came highly recommended to me by many pilots I contacted on COPA I’m glad I listened.

My advice to others is, “Don’t be fooled by Jaime’s youth and good looks. Jaime knows more about brokering planes and how to put a deal together, than anyone in her field.”

Most sincerely,

Vince McDonald

Hi Jaime,

After seeing your new web site, I just wanted to send you a thank you for the way you handled the sale of my Bonanza. Quite frankly, I am gladly offering myself as another of the testimonials that you have on your site.

When you found a buyer just three weeks after taking my listing, I was quite impressed. Then, for whatever reasons, just one day before the closing date, the buyer backed out, naturally I was disappointed, but you told me not to worry, that you would find another buyer.

You then made some recommendations with respect to price, which were followed. You continued doing your job, and within a short time you found another buyer, who did actually buy the plane.

I was extremely pleased with the level of your service. You only sent two prospects, and the second one bought my plane. So, I want to back up your statements as being absolutely true!

The reason I wanted to work with a broker and not to handle the sale myself was because I didn’t want to waste my time with “tire kickers,” who are known in this industry. You certainly did a great job of pre-qualifying, so I love what you say about tire kickers.

You also made sure all of the paper work was in order, the title search was clear and all the history of the plane in tact. Anything that might have slowed the process down was taken care of in advance, which made for a smooth transition.

If anyone wants to contact me for any reason regarding your high level of performance, please contact me by email, at mwiltz@nasegroup.com.

I would definitely work with Jaime again.

Most sincerely,
Mark Wiltz

Dear Jaime,

It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial letter for your new web site.

The first thing that comes to mind is that you are 100% realistic and honest about everything. You gave me both the good news and the bad news. You pulled no punches. You were honest and direct. You caused me absolutely no frustrations and zero stress. As a financial advisor I have plenty of stress, so working with you was wonderful.

Previously to finding out about you on COPA, I had hired another broker, who was totally lame. Once I heard about you and heard from Mike Radomsky regarding your integrity, I was relieved. It was refreshing to find someone who really knew the market.

Pilots want to work with someone who knows more than they do, that’s why we listen to the tower control. You knew what was going on in the marketplace, and I was smart enough to listen to you. My plane sold hassle free, and I am grateful.

I plan to do more business with you in the future. I welcome the calls or emails from those who want more information on your service. When there is an exceptional vendor out there, it is important to let others know.

Very truly,

To anyone looking to utilize the services of Steel Aviation:

The most important quality I was looking for when I started to look for a used plane was honesty. Honesty, as far as providing an accurate representation of an aircraft.

I drove all over the state of Florida for months looking for a Piper Archer. People would tell me everything I wanted to hear, but when I arrived to inspect the plane I was always disappointed. Needless to say I became a bit frustrated, and disappointed in people.

When I finally found Jaime Steel, it was very refreshing to work with someone who was honest and who didn’t mislead me or misrepresent the truth. The plane she found for me needed to be refurbished, but she told me the truth. I didn’t mind waiting for the refurbishing to be done, as I was able to purchase the plane at a fair price and by the time it was refurbished it was exactly what I wanted.

Jaime worked with the refurbishing company in my behalf and handled all of the communication in my behalf.Jaime’s ability to communicate was exceptional. I tried to deal with the refurbishing company directly, but that became frustrating, so Jaime took over and made my life easy. Jaime returns phone calls, emails and follows up regularly.

When I went to pick up my aircraft, there were some minor issues that had not been handled by the refurbishing company, but Jaime made sure all was up to snuff when we left. On our return flight we had a small oil leak that was corrected, and again Jaime made sure the refurbishing company paid the bill. Jaime hung in there the entire time and made sure we were 100% satisfied.

Problems happen in all businesses. It’s how people handle the problems that makes the difference, and Jaime was a true professional.

Hi Jaime,

I wanted to thank you for doing such a great job selling my C182. It was really a “painless” experience for me, but probably not for you. Your performance defines a professional.

You were right about not sending tire kickers. Your ability to pre-qualify buyers is superb. The fact that you were able to sell my plane site unseen just through digital pictures on your website was truly remarkable. Then you worked through the closure of the transaction and handled the escrow and money exchange without my involvement. That means a lot for someone like me, who doesn’t have the time to put into the process.

If someone asks for a reference, please feel free to provide my contact information.

The wife and I have quite a few summer trips planned, so I’ll have plenty of time to get comfortable with the new Cirrus.

I guess it’s really not new, since Cirrus just announced the G2. Oh well, guess we can’t keep up with the manufacturer!

Hope all is well with you.

Thanks again,

Dear Jaime,

I am writing you this testimonial, as I feel my experience with you during the purchase of my Cirrus 2002SR2 is worthy of praise. Unfortunately, because I am in the military, and because of my nature, I am only willing to put my first name on this letter and no contact information. However, should a legitimate client of yours want to speak with me concerning our transaction, I would be willing to do so, if the call came from you first.

Your responsiveness is what impressed me the most. In fact, that is truly why I worked with you. I had left my name and number with a few brokers and you were the only one who actually responded in a timely and professional manner. At all times you showed a high level of courtesy and respect. What continued to impress me was when you would e-mail me at 10pm and tell me we needed to talk, and to please call you at any hour. You were definitely dependable and responsive. The advice you gave me was always on target and your advice led me to purchase more plane than I thought I would get, at only a small amount over my original target price. Your negotiating skills are superb.

Yes, your web site impressed me, however web sites can say anything. Marketing strategies are only part of the equation. You actually lived up to your web sites description of your knowledge and professionalism. Your ability to project yourself in a professional way is quite admirable.

I would gladly recommend you to anyone who wants to purchase or sell an airplane.

I will definitely work with you in the future, and have referred a few people to you already. Keep up the good work!

Most sincerely,

Scott

Jaime,

I would like to say you were referred to me, but that isn’t true. I actually stumbled over your listings on ASOL and Trader On-Line. Then, after a few weeks of listening to what others were saying, your name continuously popped up amongst others, as being one of the top brokers for Cirrus, and you were one of the handful of brokers I called.

Once I introduced myself and told you I had a Warrior for sale and was looking to purchase a Cirrus SR20, you took the bull by the horns. Without a signed contract, you listed the Warrior on your web site immediately and within days had two legitimate offers. Needless to say, I was impressed by your efficiency and pleasantly surprised, since I wasn’t able to purchase the Cirrus you had in your inventory until I sold my Warrior. With your quick response, intuitiveness, and business savvy, you were able to put two deals together within weeks of our first contact.

Your ability to work through insurance and funding glitches was astounding. Though you are an airplane broker you knew more about the FAA rules with respect to funding than the person who worked for the funding company, and the same with the insurance company. You just didn’t let anything ruffle your feathers. When a problem arose – you handled it. You took all the pressure off of me.

Quite frankly, I actually had a blast working with you. First off, you are extremely professional when you need to be, which made you a joy to work with. Business always came first, but when it was time to kick back and shoot the bull – you were right there to kick back and let your hair down.

Should I ever want to sell my Cirrus in the future…you will be the first phone call I make. Should anyone ask me who I recommend … it’s Jaime Steel. (I am including my email address should anyone want to ask me any further questions regarding the level of your service or your knowledge.)

Most sincerely,

Tom VanBramer

Dear Jaime,

Although I'm not keen on having my name on a web site, I still want to write this letter as a testimonial to your high level of service and to the excellent job you did in handling the sale of my Cirrus SR22. If putting it on your web site is going to help others in their decision making, then I am happy to do so.

I had heard overheard Mike Radomsky give you a glowing recommendation. I also checked your web site and talked with you. I was impressed enough I didn't bother to call another broker. Now that the sale has closed, I want to add my name to your happy client list and recommend away!

As advertised, the second person you sent did purchase my plane. The first buyer you sent actually started to put in an offer, but mentioned he was concerned about some terms of his financing and decided to wait. In short order the buyer appeared. So, in actuality you sent two serious buyers! I was impressed.

What really impressed me more than anything was how involved you were in the sales process throughout the entire transaction. Not once did I wonder what was going on, as you constantly told me step by step what to do, what was happening, and what would happen next. You clearly worked behind the scenes the entire time to move everything forward in an organized and efficient fashion. Your performance matched your references.

One thing you did, that in my opinion helped the second prospect to buy, was that you facilitated the extension of my flight insurance to cover a second pilot, and in so doing enabled a test pilot to fly my plane on behalf of the prospective buyer. You made that happen while I was traveling, thanks.

Working with you was a total pleasure for me and therefore, I welcome prospective clients to call me.

Most sincerely,

Hobart Jones

My testimonial about Jaime is short and sweet.

I have bought 2 planes from Jaime and she was great to work with. Jaime knows the market, she’s honest and open with both the buyer and the seller and she sets realistic expectations for both buyer and seller. Jaime closes deals quickly and that’s what one wants from a broker.

You can contact me at my email address should you want any further details.

Respectfully,

Jaime,

Please put me on your list of happy clients!

This letter is for anyone looking to sell their used Cirrus. I owned an SR20 and was given two names of “qualified” brokers to handle the resell. The “Cirrus Approved Broker,” offered me $40,000 less than what Jaime received for my plane.

Jaime’s knowledge of the market and experience as a broker provided me with a comfort level at all times. Throughout the entire process she kept me informed and advised me appropriately. She priced it right to sell within the time frame expected and it was the third person who looked at my plane that purchased it -.not the second! The second didn’t qualify.

What separates Jaime from other brokers is her willingness to help in anyway she can. Jaime worked an entire day at helping me to get a $16,000 tax break, but when all was said and done California’s laws didn’t allow for it to happen. The point being that Jaime did all this work to benefit me - not Jaime. She had the sale already.

Once you speak with Jaime, you’ll understand why testimonial letters are a pleasure to write. Please use this on your website, and I wish you only the best.

Sincerely,

Chip Smith

Dear Jaime,

Your web site is 100% accurate. I was very frustrated trying to sell my Cessna 206 by myself. I thought it would be easy. I put ads in around 7 or 8 publications, expecting tremendous response and I only received two over a period of one month. I was very discouraged, as it was fairly expensive to advertise. The two calls I received were from two unqualified buyers who just asked a bunch of questions. By the time I found you I had had it with selling my own plane. When I gave you the listing I expected it to take the entire 90 days, or more to find a buyer.

You had it sold in under a month’s time. Out of the 5 prospects I spoke with, one saw the plane, three had conversations with me about the plane, and the one who ultimately purchased it, only had conversations with me, and never saw the plane until it was delivered. Your marketing skills are superb. I don’t think I could buy a plane sight unseen, but you made it happen. When you tell someone the condition of a plane, they can count on it to be accurate and true. Your understanding of the market was right on.

It is quite obvious to me that you are a total professional. You sold my plane very fast and at the right price for both me and my buyer. I couldn’t have been happier. I actually think you didn’t charge enough for your services. You added tremendous value to the transaction. People who can afford to own a plane can afford to pay you what you are worth.

You answered a lot of questions about cylinder pressure and other things that most pilots don’t even know about. You definitely know what you are talking about and you know more about planes than most of the people who seek your services – myself included. I didn’t know it at the time, but you are also a pilot, so no wonder you work with such passion.

I have since referred two other pilots and will continue to recommend you to anyone who asks me if I know a good broker. I tell them I don’t know a good broker – I know a “great” broker! I invite anyone to call me, as I will be more than happy to share such a positive experience.

My best regards to you.

Dear Jaime,

I’m having Cirrus withdrawals! I miss my SR20, but I’m having fun with my P210 until you find me my SR22 Cirrus. Don’t forget me.

Jaime, not only did you sell my plane within 24 hours of it going on the market, at the price I asked, but I made two new, long lasting friends. You are one of them, and the buyer of my Cirrus is the other. Gaynor and I have become great friends. Thank you so much for the way you handled the entire process. The money was transferred properly and without a glitch and the pre-buy inspection was thorough. Buyer and seller were both happy.

Anyone who wants to know how proficient you are…have them contact me.
